This week we had the privilege of meeting the General Secretary of Francophonie, Michaëlle Jean during her official visit to Burkina Faso. We had the opportunity of presenting iCivil to the OIF’s delegation in one of our pilot health centers.
Thank you Noufou KINDO for sharing the information on Burkina.com See article here (in French)
We were also featured in the RTB’s 8 o’clock news.
"This was a very enjoyable visit"
"It was very moving for us to see a baby with his little bracelet that legally identifies him. It's like a second birth. The child becomes a citizen. He won't be exposed to all the risks of not having an identity. He is more likely to make his dreams come true"
«I'm so grateful for the genius of the young generation, who is committed to the greater good of their country. It's wonderful. I am very proud that the Francophonie is supporting these groundbreaking initiatives.»
"Thanks to this device, mothers are now aware that they won't have to spend vast amounts of time and energy to register their children. Thanks to this new technology (...) the data on the child's identity (...) is automatically sent to the server of the civil registration center and it enters the civil registration system of the country. It's instantaneous."
"It's a revolution"
